Your obligations as a data recipient
When LandlordScout supplies contact details, you become an independent controller of that data. You agree to: (1) include a clear opt-out in every marketing email and honour it immediately; (2) screen numbers against TPS/CTPS before cold calls; (3) not email individually-owned landlords without their consent; (4) not resell, publish or share supplied data; (5) delete data for anyone who objects to you directly; and (6) use the data solely for contacting property owners about property-related services.
Our commitments
We source data lawfully, notify data subjects, honour opt-outs platform-wide, re-verify contacts periodically, and refund credits for contacts that are inaccurate or become suppressed.
Breach
Misuse of supplied data — spam without opt-outs, ignoring objections, resale — is grounds for immediate account termination without refund.
